Why choose us?

At Beyond, we’re dedicated to reshaping the experience of ADHD assessment and support by putting compassion, clarity and understanding at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to provide a service that feels thoughtful, reliable and truly supportive from start to finish.

Our vision

A service designed to truly support people and families

We imagine a future where individuals, families and young people have access to exceptional guidance, supportive professionals and clear pathways that help them grow, thrive and reach their potential. Everyone deserves a positive, reassuring experience when seeking clarity about their wellbeing, and we are committed to making that a reality.

To achieve this, we have re-imagined what a modern, people-centred service should look like — from the support we provide, to the way we communicate, to the experience you have at every stage. Everything we do is built around care, transparency and truly understanding the people we work with.

Why Beyond?

Why we're different

Online or in-clinic support in a way that works for you

You can choose to have your assessment online from the comfort of your own home, or visit us at our welcoming clinic in Warrington. Whichever you choose, you’ll receive the same high standard of care, attention, and access to our specialist clinical team.

Built from real experience

Beyond was created by people who have personally navigated the challenges surrounding ADHD. We understand how important it is to feel heard, supported, and treated with kindness. This lived experience shapes everything we do — from the time we give each person, to the way we explain things, to how we support you after your assessment.

A thoughtful and thorough assessment process

Many of us found that traditional assessment pathways didn’t offer the depth, time, or understanding we needed. That’s why we’ve developed a process that is more detailed, more reflective, and more focused on understanding the whole person. We take the time to explore your experiences fully, so you feel the process has truly captured your story.

Support Beyond the assessment

Once your assessment is complete, we continue to offer guidance to help you understand your report and explore what practical support may be helpful in school, work, or everyday life. Our team ensures you feel informed, reassured, and confident about the steps ahead.

Why do we care so much?

Beyond was created by people with personal experience of navigating the challenges surrounding ADHD support. We understand how important it is to feel listened to, respected and guided with compassion because we’ve been through similar journeys ourselves.

That insight shapes everything we do. It inspires us to build a service that feels thoughtful, reassuring and genuinely supportive from the moment you get in touch. Our aim is to offer the kind of care and understanding we would have wanted for ourselves and our families.

A thoughtful and thorough assessment process

We’ve designed our assessment pathway to be detailed, structured and genuinely helpful, bringing together a range of recognised tools and conversations to create a clear and well-rounded understanding of your experiences.

As part of this process, we include computer-based activities and structured clinical interviews that offer additional insight and help our clinicians build a complete picture. We continually review and refine our approach to ensure we remain aligned with best-practice guidance and emerging developments in the field.

Everything you need, included from the start

Rather than adding optional extras or supplementary tools, we include everything within one clear assessment pathway. This means you can feel confident that the process is complete, consistent and designed with care from beginning to end.

At the conclusion of the assessment, you will receive a detailed written report summarising the findings and providing helpful recommendations. We can also provide a summary letter for school, university or workplace settings on request.

We give you the time and care you deserve

We believe that understanding your experiences properly takes time — which is why our assessment pathway is designed to be calm, unhurried and genuinely thorough. Each stage allows space for reflection, conversation and thoughtful exploration, so you feel supported throughout the process.

As standard, we include:

A structured conversation led by an experienced practitioner, exploring your story and day-to-day experiences
A dedicated session with a consultant psychiatrist to bring together all the information gathered
Time before and after appointments for your clinician to review, reflect and prepare a detailed written report
An optional follow-up appointment, where you can ask questions and talk through the findings at your own pace

Why our approach takes more time

Many traditional pathways combine the entire process into a short single appointment. Our approach gives more breathing room offering separate conversations that allow clinicians to explore your strengths, challenges and background in greater depth.

This leads to a clearer, more rounded understanding and ensures you never feel rushed.

Ongoing support you can rely on

Many people come to us after an assessment elsewhere because they’re looking for more clarity, guidance or consistency as they take their next steps.

We listened carefully to their experiences and realised that what many people were missing was regular contact, reassurance and a team who stays connected beyond the initial appointment.

That’s why, at Beyond, we offer ongoing support options that give you space to check in, ask questions and feel guided by a team who genuinely cares about your progress.

Our practitioners provide calm, structured conversations that help you reflect on how things are going and explore strategies or adjustments that may be helpful in everyday life.

We support you through every stage of the journey

Many people like to continue working with us for a period after their assessment, while others eventually choose to seek support through their local healthcare provider. Whatever path you take, we aim to make the transition as smooth and well-supported as possible.

We take care to ensure that your assessment is clear, detailed and professionally presented, so you have everything you need should you wish to share the report with your GP or another service.

Our team is always happy to explain what information is included and how it may be used when discussing support options with external professionals.

If your GP or another service is not able to offer the support you're looking for, you’re welcome to continue accessing guidance from our team for as long as it feels helpful.
