Autism screening for women, focused entirely on you.

Many women spend years feeling like they're "coping," while privately struggling with overwhelm, exhaustion, and the constant effort of fitting in. If you suspect autism could be part of your story, screening can be a supportive first step towards clarity and answers.

Why do you provide a women focused pathway?

Some autistic traits in people can often be referred to a term called masking (consciously or unconsciously) to appear "fine" in social settings, work and career environments or family settings, this can often make it harder to recognise traits or access the right support.

You might relate to:

Social confidence on the outside, exhaustion on the inside
Rehearsing conversations, analysing interactions afterwards
Sensory overwhelm (but pushing through)
Burnout after long periods of "coping"
Being mislabelled as "anxious," "too sensitive," or "just shy"

What our screening includes

Our women-focused screening pathway uses the same robust screening measures, with a clinical lens that considers how traits can show up when someone has spent years adapting to their enviroments.

It may include:

AQ50 questionnaire
VSRS questionnaire
Family member / informant input
(where helpful)

What happens next

Screening will never be framed as a diagnosis. Instead, you'll receive:

  • A clear recommendation on whether a full assessment is likely to be helpful
  • Practical next steps and signposting
  • A pathway that feels supportive, not clinical or judgemental
